Banana Dog Treat Icing
with Carob and Cinnamon

This banana dog treat icing recipe is designed to complement the banana pecan dog cake. However, it makes a great pairing with many of the other dog treats, dog cookies and dog cake recipes.

Helpful Tips:
  • Add more or less flour to this dog treat frosting to make a spreadable consistency.
  • You can find powdered carob in most major health food stores.
  • To help you decide whether or not to add the chopped pecans, try giving a small piece of pecan to your dog. Does she quickly gobble it up and look for more? Or does she roll it around in her mouth and then plop it back on the floor looking at you to give her a real treat? A good rule of thumb is to let your dog be your judge!
