I used my Kitchen Aid stand mixer with the dough hook to knead the dough. I set it on 2 and let it work for 4-5 minutes. The dough came out perfect without having to add any additional flour.

I still dusted the counter before rolling them out but the dough was very easy to work with. I also discovered that since the cookies don't spread I could crowd them on the cookie sheet. They still were very hard and all the dogs loved them.

I have gotten several request for the recipe and have referred them to this site. Thank you for the great recipe.
