Restricted Diet Dog Treats

Do you have a recipe for a baked dog treat made with buckwheat and apples? My dog has dietary limitations due to allergies. His only permitted grain is buckwheat. Apples and watermelon are his choices for fruit. Thank you.

Chef's Answer ~ No, I'm sorry, I don't specifically have a dog treat recipe with buckwheat and apples.

I do have two apple dog treat recipes, though. They are my Apple Carrot Nibbles and the Dried Spiced Apple Slices.

One great thing about making homemade dog treats is that you can customize dog treat recipes. Since your dog can only have buckwheat, you can replace the wheat flour in most recipes with buckwheat flour.
