Preserving Homemade Dog Treats

by Jen
(Hoboken, NJ)

I'd like to make dog treats that can be preserved. I would like to give these as gifts and mail them to people. Since there would be time lost in traveling, I'd like to make sure they have enough time for their dog to enjoy them. Is there a natural preservative I could use?

Chef's Answer ~ Yes, you can get a natural preservative from K9 Cakery.com. They also have a lot of great things to make and decorate dog treats with.

Be sure to check out our tips page on how to ship dog cookies to help your homemade goodies arrive safe and sound.

I hope this has helped. Happy Dog Treat Baking! :)
