Is there such a thing as a grain free vegetarian dog treat recipe?

Hello, my Westie is allergic to all grains and we are both vegetarians. I would like to make him some treats, but I cannot seem to find any recipes for vegetarian dog treats that are also grain free. Any suggestions?

Chef's Answer ~ You can make most dog treat recipes grain free by substituting the flour with an alternative like brown rice flour, potato flour, or tapioca flour. Most dog treat recipes will come out well with a 1 to 1 substitution ratio.

But, you can also make these vegetarian dog treats:

Sweet Potato Dog Chew - This is slices of sweet potato dried in your oven. You can make them as chewy or crunchy as your dogs like.

Soft Vegan Dog Treats - These are sweet apple chips for your dog and you! :)

There's many more Vegetarian Dog Treats, that I can't name them all, but if you're looking for a specific type of vegetarian or vegan dog treat, please let me know and I'll be happy to find it or create it! :)
