Ask your doctor if the sweet potatoes are safe for your dog with kidney disease. As a person who used to have kidney failure and was on dialysis prior to a transplant, I was supposed to avoid and/or limit the amount of potatoes I ate. It has a lot of potassium that that a dog with impaired kidney function may not be able to handle. So please check with the vet.
