can you use canned sweet potatoes?

No experience, just want to know if canned sweet potatoes could work?

Chef's Answer ~ I won't say no, but I highly doubt it. The amount of time it would take to dehydrate a cooked sweet potato would be inordinate.

Plus, many canned sweet potatoes are made with extra sugar or corn syrup, two things our dogs do not need.
