1 cup brown rice 1 cup barley 4 cups water with 3 bouillon cubes (chicken or beef) add 2 cans of vegetables. I use green beans, peas, sweet potatoes or carrots. Some times I add skinless chicken breast or turkey.
Mix this all together and store in the frig.
Sometimes I change the barley for oatmeal. I have two picky eaters and they love this plus they are losing weight which is mainly why I started making it.
