Writing words on decorated dog treats

This is our little love, Miss Lilly

I have tried to write on my decorated dog treats with melted carob and melted yogurt chips with no success. My cookies are coated first with either yogurt or carob. Please help, maybe there is another product or way I should be trying because these products are not working. Thank you.

Chef's Answer ~ First, your Miss Lilly is just adorable, especially in her little frilly dress! :)

Writing with icing is never an easy task. You could try writing with a very fine paint brush dipped in your homemade icing. Or, you could try using edible decorating pens, like ones you can find at major craft stores or Amazon.com.
