Recipe for a Dog Bakery Treat

by Sally

I'm trying to find a recipe for a treat we found at our favorite pet shop. They won't give us the recipe, which I don't blame them, but they are pretty expensive and we can't afford them! It just looks like chicken, rolled in a pinwheel and dried. I'm not sure if its dried in the oven or microwave?  Can you help us! Bear would greatly appreciate it!

Chef's Answer ~ Sometimes dog bakery treats can get expensive, especially when your dog finds a favorite! My bet is that Bear likes the taste of the chicken more than the pinwheel shape. If that's the case, then you'll save yourself a lot of work making the treats at home. Here's a recipe and several tips and techniques that should fit Bear's taste preferences: Chicken Jerky Dog Treats.
