Peanut butter dog training treats somewhat the size of zukes?

I have two dogs I'm working with I want something that is small enough to put in my pocket so I can award them often while clicker training them. I have a Dane so easy on the stomach would be good, and they love peanut butter!

Chef's Answer ~ The beauty of making your own homemade dog treats is that you can customize the size and ingredients just the way you and your Dane need.

Once you have chosen a peanut butter dog treat recipe, you can substitute the flour for brown rice flour or oat flour which may be more gentle on your Dane's stomach.

Next, decide the exact size you'd like to achieve. If you want something really small, pull out your teaspoon measuring spoon and scoop the dough onto your prepared baking sheet. You can keep them as little globs or roll them in lightly wet hands to create a ball.

I hope this helps make training a pleasure, enjoy! :)

small cookie size

I bought a long handled apple corer. The serrated edges cut into the dough with ease and make about a half inch cookie
