Is there a natural or organic preservative I can use for home baked dog treats?

I have started a home business baking dog treats and need a preservative which will extend the shelf life to match the currently available organic treats offered by the larger manufacturers. This would enable me to expand sales outside my local area. Can you help me? By the way, my recipes are for soft baked treats instead of hard and crunchy.
Thanks!

Chef's Answer ~ My first thought is to check out the preservatives from K9 Cakery. They have a lot of different ingredients and tools to help with making your own dog treats.

Other than preservatives, you may want to make sure that your dog treat packaging is as air tight as possible. That will help to keep the treats fresher, longer.

I hope these tips help. :)
