How long do homemade dog treats usually keep?

by Jessica

I do not have much extra time, but would like my pets to have healthy snacks (maybe at a more of an affordable price than the pet stores). If I make a lot at once, how long is it usually OK to keep homemade dog treats?

Chef's Answer ~ If you freeze the treats well, by eliminating any extra air and in thick freezer bags, you should be able to keep the baked treats fresh in the freezer for a minimum of 4 months.

I hope this helps. Happy Dog Treat Baking! :)
