Getting Started in a Dog Bakery
I'm thinking of starting a small dog treat business here in my area (San Francisco/East Bay), not a store front but word of mouth and in grooming salons and pet stores. I'd like to know some basics on how to get started. I have recipes. Do I need to have some sort of food permit or license? Is there a book that will tell about all the ingredients to use and not to use?
