Can you make cat/kitten treats?

by Carrington
(Lexington)

I am bottle feeding two kittens and I was wondering when they get a little bit older if I could make kitten treats for them?

Chef's Answer ~ Yes, you can make cat treats at home. Keep in mind that cats have different nutritional needs than dogs, so for starters, you'll want to look for recipes that have a high amount of protein.

A recipe to get you going is the easy dog treat recipe dried liver treats.

I have given these treats to cats before and they love them, I hope yours do, too. :)
