Easy Microwave Dog Treat Oat Bites

The lazy days of Summer are slipping away and our busy lives are creeping back in. Don't let your hectic schedule make you think you have no time for homemade dog treats. There's always time for a healthy and tasty snack.

This month we're featuring a healthy microwavable oat bite that is sure to please your picky pooch. With the addition of molasses, we know your dog will be instantly intrigued by the sweet earthy smell of these treats.

If you don't have flax seed or wheat bran, you can add 1/4 cup more flour to the recipe as a substitute. However these ingredients make this recipe healthier, so if you can find them in your local store, or online, I highly recommend using them.
