Yield & Taste

Paw Cake

Paw Cake

This recipe didn't state yield like most of the recipes did, so when I was making it last weekend we just made as we went. Anyways, FYI to future dog bakers! The recipe as is will make just shy of a 9" cake pan OR I would guess 6-7 muffins.

I doubled the recipe and got a 9" cake pan AND 4 muffins out of it.

As a note to the other commenter - my husband & I did try the cake and it tasted fine, just a bit bland for human taste. However all of the dogs LOVED it. Some had seconds!

Chef's Comments ~ Thank you so much for the wonderful picture. I love seeing homemade dog treats, your paw shaped cake is just too adorable! :)

Thank you also for taking the time to let me know I had neglected to give a yield for this recipe. I've updated the recipe based on your experience.

I'm sure you have one very happy and satisfied dog!

Happy Dog Treat Baking! :)
