Sweet potato dog chew

The dogs ate them but it threw their whole potty schedule off and we had a big mess at three in the morning. And we only gave them a 2"x2" piece. Visla (1yr) and Weimeraner (13yr). Obviously we are saving the rest of the bag of yams for our dinner from now on.

Chef's Answer ~ I'm so sorry to hear that, Bruce. I'm not entirely sure why your dogs had such a reaction. I've personally given this treat to many different ages, sizes, and breeds of dog and have not had such a problem.

Just so you, and our other visitors know, I have a large group of doggie taste-testers. Each recipe is approved before it's posted to try and avoid the type of outcome you and your two dogs went through.

I hope you try out another recipe, let me know if I can help in any way. :)

I hope my batch comes out well NEW
by: BedazzledLV

WOW sweet potatoes are readily recommended for the most sensitive dogs. My 18 lb jack russell gets these since they are the only chew that my husband does not detest the smell of. I hope my batch comes out well, because Sam's Yams Sweet Potato Dog Chewz(big boyz size) cost me a ton each month.
