Soft Treats

How do I make some of these treats soft. My wife and I have two Chihuahua's and sometimes they will not eat hard treats. We know that hard treats are good for their dental hygiene but we like to switch it up once in a while.

Chef's Answer ~ You can make any of your homemade dog treats soft by baking for less time. You can also soak harder treats in a small dish with a small amount of low sodium chicken or beef broth. Wait approximately 30 minutes or so for the hard treats to soak up the broth and then serve the soft treats in the dish.
