My doggies went crazy for this dog treat recipe!!!

These were so easy to make! The dough was a little sticky so I added some oat bran to thicken it up. Instead of rolling them out I shaped them into mini peanut butter cookies with the cross hatch fork impressions. They looked just like people cookies. My little dachshund sat in the middle of the kitchen and cried for them all day!

I have 2 shih tzus, and one literally sat by the oven licking his lips while these were baking. I let them sample the raw dough, and they even loved that. Instead of jar peanut butter, I used dry roasted organic peanuts, ground through the processor in the bulk food department at the grocery store. These were a hit, and I'll be making them to give away to visitors to my booth at a trade show this weekend! Great recipe!

My dog absolutely loved these treats, I made little balls out of them as you suggested but, instead of doing the crosshatch thing i put little peanuts to make them look like little chips inside the cookie. They were so easy I will be sure to make them much more often! :D
