My dog loves these cookies ...just one question

I rolled out the cookies just as you instructed and baked them for about 30 minutes. They came out puffy. Any ideas? This happened with the Peanut Butter & Oatmeal cookies, too.
Thanks

Chef's Answer ~ First, let me point you to a similar question that has been answered about how to eliminate bubbles in homemade dog treats.

Then, to add to that above answer, another possibility is over mixing the batter. This can introduce air bubbles that puff up the dog cookie. Stir the wet and dry ingredients just until combined to help eliminate puffy cookies.

I hope this has helped. Happy Dog Treat Baking! :)
