I saw a video yesterday about pumpkin dog treats and the lady put nutmeg in it. Is nutmeg good for dogs?

Chef's Answer ~ There are mixed thoughts about nutmeg. Many sources list it as a food to avoid. Other reputable sources do not mention the spice. To be on the safe side, if you see a dog treat recipe with nutmeg that you would like to make, substitute it for a dog safe spice like cinnamon.
