Cream Cheesed Icing

Hi All! I’m like crazy in love with my dogs, probably like most of you! I’m always looking for new and healthy things for my furry guy.

I guess it was back in September, a couple friends and I were scouting out a venue for our annual event, The Dog-a-thon. Buddy, my Golden, and I are volunteers with Pets on Wheels. Anyway one of the ladies who met us there brought her two dogs...she let them out of the car and went to put their leashes on like always and they took off...off into about 1000 acres of woods and fields. We searched and searched for hours but couldn’t find them...come to find out a gentleman who lived close to the area saw them and grabbed them up...the only tag they had on was their rabies tag...and since it was late in the day the vet's office (listed on the tag) was closed...so he called first thing the next morning, believe it or not he had washed and bathed the two crazy Samoyeds, well one dog and one puppy with show coats. All was well and good, thank God! Well, the owner of the 2 dogs gave me an organic doggie cook book with cookie cutters as a thanks for helping look (which she did not have to do! We would have helped no matter what!)

So, I’ve used this cook book a couple of times since then and my dog LOVES everything, so far! Though I have to admit that I was hoping he wouldn’t like the liver cookies because they were pretty smelly while baking  Then earlier today I got to thinking about making some more cookies and the cookies at specialty dog store jumped into my head…you know the ones that are like half dipped in carob and such…so I jump on here and found the wonderful cream cheese icing recipe. It was awesome…I made a bunch of heart cookies in different sizes for Valentine’s Day for Buddy to give to all his friends. I tinted the icing pink and blue and they look great! I’m so excited to try some more recipes from here! You all are awesome!! Thanks
